The UTSA Choirs are comprised of three ensembles that offer singers of all ability levels a place to practice their love of singing. The ensembles perform music from virtually every genre and musical era. Each group performs multiple concerts per semester. Annual combined events include Winterlude performances with the UTSA Orchestra and the Choral Cavalcade each spring. Other events include participation in the UTSA New Music Festival, off-campus performances at local venues, annual local tours, performances of masterworks with the UTSA Orchestra, and collaborations with departments across the UTSA campus. The UTSA Choirs have been invited to perform at regional and national conferences of the American Choral Directors Association and the Texas Music Educators Association convention. They have performed in conjunction with the San Antonio Mastersingers and San Antonio Symphony, along with other prominent San Antonio organizations. Previous international appearances include tours to Mexico, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
