The UTSA Chamber Singers are the premier choral ensemble for the university and is composed of around 40 singers. Membership is highly selective and based on annual auditions. Under the direction of Dr. Yoojin Muhn, the ensemble performs the highest-level choral music from all musical eras. They appear as a featured ensemble in the annual Winterlude event, performances throughout San Antonio, an on annual performance and recruiting tours.
The UTSA Choirs are open to all students! Auditions take place one week before the fall semester. They are 10-15 minutes in length and consist of singing, vocalizing, pitch retention, and sight singing. Audition results determine choral placements.
