UTSA University Chorus

The UTSA University Chorus is a non-auditioned mixed ensemble that does not require students to have previous singing experience. Under the direction of Dr. Jordan D. Boyd, the priority for this ensemble is to create an environment in which students can explore their love of music while learning fundamental musical skills and being part of an inclusive musical family representing an exceptional variety of academic majors. The ensemble combines with the auditioned ensembles for Winterlude performances and the annual Choral Cavalcade. They also present their own concerts each semester.

UTSA Choirs Audition Information

The UTSA Choirs are open to all students! Auditions take place one week before the fall semester. They are 10-15 minutes in length and consist of singing, vocalizing, pitch retention, and sight singing. Audition results determine choral placements.
