UTSA Orchestra "ENIGMA"

UTSA Orchestra presents Elgar's epic ""Enigma" Variations, along with works by Bellini, Bloch, and Coleridge-Taylor. The concert features 2024-25 Concerto and Aria Competition winners Emily Densmore (soprano) and Josette Garcia (violin) as soloists. this marks Troy Peters' farewell performance as conductor of the UTSA Orchestra.

CHORAL CAVALCADE

UTSA's cherished choral tradition continues! Join us Friday, April 25 at 7:30pm in the UTSA Recital Hall as we present Choral Cavalcade. This concert will feature performances by the UTSA Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, and University Chorus. It will also feature our special guest ensemble, the Brennan High School Varsity Mixed Choir under the direction of UTSA Alumnus Jimmy Garrett.

UTSA to celebrate 50 years of art and music at the Tobin Center

UTSA will commemorate 50 years of excellence in the arts with a special anniversary concert celebrating the legacy of its School of Art and its School of Music. This milestone event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, bringing together musicians, dancers, visual artists and spoken word performers for an evening of creativity and collaboration.

Degree in Commercial and Digital Music Equips Students for the Modern Music Industry

The UTSA School of Music has launched its new Bachelor of Arts in Commercial and Digital Music this Fall. The degree has been approved by the THECB and a small inaugural class has already begun studies in this contemporary program designed to equip students with the skills to thrive in today’s digital music landscape.
