Welcome Back! It's time to start checking out instruments, accessories, mariachi uniforms, and lockers!
Appointments are required thru Wednesday, August 26th!
- Sign up for 1 slot even if you are checking out multiple items. Just provide details in the comments. (example: secondary, woodwind methods, etc.)
- Primary Instrument, Secondary Instrument, Locker, Microphones, **Specialty Instruments
- Time slots for instrument/locker checkouts will be in 10 minute increments. Traje checkouts will be 15 minutes.
- It is imperative that you are prompt
- Students must bring a student ID or driver's license
- Method Instruments - no fee
- $100 fee will be charged for all instrument loans checked out for the entire semester.

- $25 fee will be charge for all Locker rentals

**Specialty Instruments
The Special Instrument Request form is now located on the Music website under: Current Students → Current Student Forms
Previously, these requests were submitted by faculty. Moving forward, students will submit the Special Instrument Request form directly. The form will route to the appropriate area faculty member responsible for the requested instrumentation. Once approved, a member of the Instrument Room team will reach out to you with instructions to check out your specialty instrument. Specialty instruments include items such as D Trumpet, A-flat Clarinet, Contrabasson, Celeste, etc.
This process also applies to students requesting to check out an instrument that is not their primary instrument. For example, a saxophone student wishing to check out a trombone must complete this form.
Primary Instruments for Music Majors
Music majors checking out their Primary Instruments are limited to ONLY two (2) long semesters. For more information on this policy, please visit the Music Handbook located in Canvas → Modules.
