A RAINBOWS END

A flute sophomore qualifying recital at the UT San Antonio recital hall. November 9th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Accompanied by Mari Ito-Klausmeyer, piano. Playing works by J.S. Bach, Zackery S. Meier, and Louis Ganne. Lane is a flutist with seven years of playing experience. In sixth grade he started in band playing the trombone. He was miserable. It wasn't until the end of eighth grade when he discovered the flute. In high school he played the flute in the marching band and knew he had found his calling. He also began to play piccolo during that same time. During his sophomore year at UT San Antonio, Lane also learned the alto flute. He aspires to follow in his professors’ footsteps and hopes to teach, perform, and host flute related events across the country and someday around the world. Lane is also an armature jewelry maker and hopes to one day become a professional flute maker. Lane's ultimate dream is to someday own his own brand of handmade flutes and work with other professional flute artists. Lane has worked very hard on these amazing pieces of music and hopes you enjoy listening to them as much as he loves performing them.
