UTSA Center for Public Opinion Research releases new election poll results ahead of early voting

A poll of likely San Antonio voters conducted by the UTSA Center for Public Opinion Research (CPOR) finds Gina Ortiz Jones leading the crowded field of 27 candidates hoping to succeed Ron Nirenberg as mayor. Jones currently garners 12.8% support, followed by John Courage (7.1%) and Beto Altamirano (6.6%).

About 35% of voters are undecided and 20% are unfamiliar with any of the 27 candidates running to replace Ron Nirenberg in the May 3, 2025 election.
