Highly accomplished New York artist JESUS BENAVENTE lovingly embraces his San Antonio roots and Mexican-American heritage in his exhibition La Pulga Fresa. This interactive art installation converts the UTSA gallery space into a flea market that invites community engagement with various booths, including video artworks, paintings, artist blankets, an abstracted bounce house, and collaborations with UTSA School of Art students. Curated by Buster Graybill

Artist ALICIA EGGERT is an Associate Professor of Sculpture at UNT in Denton, TX, and has shown work throughout the USA and internationally.  Eggert's exhibition Monumentous uses large-scale sculpture, painting, and neon signs to give material form to the powerful, but invisible, forces of time and language. Eggert's work poses monumental and momentous questions about our complex existence, both “now” and in the “future.” Curated by Buster Graybill
