President Ricardo Romo & Dr. Harriett Romo & the Department of Art and Art History, The University of Texas at San Antonio, announce New Art/Arte Nuevo: San Antonio 2014. Since 2008, this biennial juried exhibition features the work of artists living and working - or with roots/raíces - in South and West Texas. A print catalog will accompany the exhibition.

Catherine Lee, a multimedia artist who currently lives and works in central Texas, will serve as juror. She is known for large abstract installations, sculptures and paintings. Lee resided for most of her career in New York and London. She's taught at universities throughout the US and is currently visiting instructor at the Institut für Keramic und Glass, Koblenz, Germany.
