The UTSA Ph.D. program in Environmental Anthropology only began in 2007. Since that time we have graduated 28 students with Ph.D.s., and we are very proud of their success. Here's where they are now:

Charles "Andy" Speer (2013), archaeologist - Associate Professor of Anthropology at Idaho State University and Curator of Anthropology at the Idaho Museum of Natural History.

Deborah Moore (2013), biological anthropologist - We are very sad to report that Deb passed away after a long battle with an illness. Before her death, she was Research Associate with the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, Democratic Republic of Congo.
