Each of these pieces were created in my first year at UTSA, and will continue to serve as reference to look back at in future years and see how much my art has improved. I enjoy drawing more than any other field in art, especially in black and white, so I selected three of what I felt were my best illustrations from that year to display. I like to work with differentiating values in my pieces, though I find that intense contrasts in values are most pleasing to look at.c
