LesLeigh Ring

Bio

LesLeigh Ring grew up in Comanche, TX where she was taught the value of education and communication. Upon her high school graduation she went on Tarleton State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Speech Communication. She was accepted to Texas State University in the fall of 2012 where she received her M.A. degree. Texas State is the place where her passion for teaching was sparked. Her number one passion is teaching college students, and has a special interest in teaching freshmen who are first generation college students as she is a first generation college student herself.

She has taught courses in Introduction to Communication, Public Speaking, and Business & Professional Speaking classes at Texas State University, Northwest Vista College, Temple College, and University of Texas – San Antonio.

She has a special interest in learning about new research that explains romantic relationships as well as student/teacher relationships.
