Bio

Spring 2024 Office Hours: In-Person on Mondays from 7:15pm-8:00pm and Virtual via Zoom Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Amy Pozza received a B.A. in history from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2002 and a Ph.D. in modern Chinese history from Cornell University in 2008. Her graduate research focused on ethnic and national identity formation in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in the 1950s. Her current interests include East Asian history, Asian American Studies, critical pedagogy, cultural competency, and interdisciplinary instruction.
