Laura Oliver

Bio

Laura Oliver received a B.A. in English with a minor in Theatre Arts from Texas A & M University in May 1981. She completed her M.A. in Communication from the University of North Texas in August 1983.

Laura has taught Communication at the University of North Texas, Del Mar College, St. Phillip’s College, Palo Alto College and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Laura teaches Introduction to Communication (1043), Public Speaking (2113), Interpersonal Communication (3383), Business and Professional Communication (1053), and Oral Interpretation (2123).

Laura is a member of the San Antonio Aggie Mom's Club, the Aggie Wives and Graduates Association, along with various PTAs and social clubs. She has worked in retail, was an insurance agent (Laura Bishop Insurance Agency) and worked as a bodily injury Claims Specialist for ten years. She is married and has three children.
