Bio
Claribel Olivas is a printmaker and educator based in San-Antonio. Her practice encompasses traditional print, film, and installation works that incorporate textiles and found objects. Her work explores figurative abstraction and magic realism. She holds an MFA from the University of Texas San Antonio and a BFA from the University of Texas Permian Basin. She currently works as a Lecturer at UT San Antonio where she has taught basic printmaking, drawing I, and color theory.
