Ryan McPherson

Bio

Ryan McPherson graduated from Texas State University with a master’s degree in Communication Studies and a certificate in Corporate Communication Training and Development.

He studied Organizational Communication, Rhetoric, and Instructional Communication.

Ryan teaches Language and Communication Theory, Foundations of Communication, and Business and Professional Speech.

He has taught university level communication courses for over a decade, including Organizational Communication, Rhetorical Communication, Persuasion, Fundamentals of Human Communication, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Communication Skills for Career Growth, and Argumentation.

Ryan works as a communication consultant, instructional designer, speaker, and storyteller.

He has been a sales agent, journalist, debater, tour guide, university ambassador, orientation leader, advertising copywriter, and president of the campus advertising federation.

Ryan is a lifetime member of the National Storytelling Network, a member of the Tejas Storytelling Association, president of the San Antonio Storytelling Association, and founder of the New Braunfels Storytelling Performers.
