Visiting Assistant Professor, Film and Media
Camille Morales-Zayas is a Writer, Director & Producer from San Juan, Puerto Rico currently based in Austin, Texas.
Her films tell intimate stories based on complex emotions within relationships that border on the surreal and deeply personal. Her work has been recognized and screened internationally in festivals such as Cine Sol Film Festival, Berlin Indie Film Festival, Waco Independent Film Festival, Philadelphia Latino Arts & Film Festival and CineFestival San Antonio.
She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with a minor in Film studies. She also attended The University of Carlos III in Madrid where she studied Film production and explored her love for International Cinema.
Camille has recently graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production from The University of Texas at Austin. She is currently lecturing as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio, while in development of her first feature film.
