Jeff Castle

Bio

Jeff Castle is a native of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. After graduating from Tolman High School he studied with Walter Chesnut at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he received a bachelor's degree in Music Education/Trumpet Performance. He attended graduate school at Rice University where he studied with Armando Ghitalla and Jim Wilt and earned his Master's degree in Trumpet Performance.

Mr. Castle entered the Air Force in June 1998 upon earning a position with the Band of the West, Lackland AFB, TX. Prior to his current assignment at the Band of the West, MSgt Castle served in the Band of the Pacific- Alaska and The Air Force Band in Washington D.C.

Jeff is a freelance musician and educator in demand throughout Central Texas. He performs regularly as an extra/sub with the San Antonio Symphony and is the co-founder and director of Castle Brass.
