Jessica Acosta

Bio

Jessica Acosta is a Laredo native who moved to San Antonio in 2011 to pursue her education. She attended The University of Texas at San Antonio where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 2015.

After a two year break, she decided to further her education at UTSA. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication in December of 2018. While in graduate school, she took a course on “Communication and College Level Instruction” which is what sparked the interest for what would turn out to be her dream career. Upon graduation, Jessica taught multiple courses at UTSA. In the Summer of 2019, she moved to Denver, Colorado where she taught at several institutes: Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Front Range Community College.

2021 found her back in San Antonio where she is closer to home and her family. In her spare time, she enjoys training on aerial silks & spending time with her husband and their dogs, Bubby & Bijou.
