The department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Alliance Française of San Antonio welcomed high school students and their French teachers to UTSA to celebrate all things Francophone on Saturday, February 26. Over 300 people attended the event, among them high school students and UTSA students.

Special thanks to Stephan Raveneau and Sweet Paris at La Cantera for providing sweet savory crepes for all participants that were made on the spot. Additionally, an awesome breakfast was provided by The Bakery Lorraine at the Rim, La Madeleine at Huebner Oaks, and HEBs at de Zavala, Bandera & 1604, and Leon Springs.

Without the hard work of all French teachers, there wouldn't have been such notable presence from high school students of the following high schools: Taft, Stevens, St Mary's Hall, John Jay, Marshall, Harlan, Clark, O'Connor, Churchill, LEE, Johnson and, Goose Creek Memorial (who came all the way from Houston).

Finally we extend our appreciation to the cultural attaché Bettina Ghardelles, and L'Alliance Française de San Antonio for their collaboration.
