Karla Hernández is a proud first-gen, UTSA 2020 alumna with a bachelor of arts in Medical Humanities and a minor in Biology. She speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is a CoreCHITM medical interpreter for underserved Hispanic communities in her home city, Houston, Texas.
