Alex Espinosa

Biography

Alex Espinosa is a Junior who has just transferred into the University of Texas at San Antonio this semester. They are majoring in English with a concentration in Literature, they eventually plan on getting their masters and possibly pursuing a PhD in the future. Through literature, Alex has found that the content within each story can be interconnected with the cultures and values of the authors during their respective times. By continuing research done at Lone Star Cyfair’s Honors College, as well as continuing new academic pursuits, Alex hopes to pursue their dream of expressing the importance of literature to the world. Through their research they hope to delve into topics such as the depiction of women within Latinx literature as well as the culture surrounding Latinx literature as a whole.
