Bio

Ada M. Zamarripa (she, her, ella) is originally from Piedras Negras Coahuila, México. She completed a Master's degree in Spanish at UTSA. Ada is the Director of La Comunidad, LLC at UTSA. In her role as an educator and Director of this amazing organization, Ada strives to support and uplift students, providing them with the resources and guidance they need to thrive. Ada has spent her time at UTSA in motivating students to any form of higher education, especially among our Heritage population. Her love for and appreciation of her students' individual stories motivates her to continuing advocating for the students she serves at UTSA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, traveling and learning about different cultures.
