Bio

Bri McDonald is a San Antonio-based artist and educator whose interdisciplinary practice spans installation, video, and assemblage. Her work explores survival, belief, and image-making in a post-truth world, focusing on digital dissonance and fractured memory. She holds an MFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has recently worked as an Artist in Residence at Clark High School where she has led community projects including large-scale murals, student-run podcasts, and socially engaged projects. McDonald was awarded a National Gallery of Art Summer Institute Fellowship, and served as a UTSA Digital Humanities Fellow. Her work honors fragments, carrying forward what remains when truth no longer holds.
