Bio
Chiharu Matsuda is originally from Kyoto, Japan. She completed her master’s degree at Boston University and has taught Japanese and English at several universities, prestigious high schools, and language schools before joining UTSA as a lecturer. She also continues to ive private language lessons to a wide variety of students including high-profile clients such as Hollywood actors, popular anime producers, iHeart podcast hosts, book authors, and more. When she has free time, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar and the piano, and learning foreign languages.
