Adam  Hasewinkle

Bio

Adam Hasewinkle is an Assistant Professor of Practice, concentrating on the intricate relationship between technology and society throughout history, with a particular emphasis on computing. He earned a Master of Arts in History from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he was honored as a Nau Scholar in recognition of his dedication to historical studies. His research explores significant themes, including labor and environmental exploitation in Silicon Valley and the development of Orientalism within the Ottoman Imperial Harem. Adam has experience teaching courses in World History and is currently engaged in courses that examine the history of technology, science, and medicine.
