Come meet artists exhibiting in the exhibition Courage, Valor, Mужество, Mужність, 勇气 . The exhibition features artists in the 2024 San Antonio cohort of the New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program. The title identifies the theme of courage in English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese, reflecting the native languages of immigrant artists in our city and region. Some artists consider changing ideas of family and cultural conditions and the lived experience of home across global contexts, and some artists consider diverse ideas of conceptual engagement and artistic dynamism.
