On September 16th, 2024, Dr. Ethan Wickman will perform a recital of solo and chamber music with oud (Turkish lute). The program, entitled “Prisms of the Bosporus,” will feature recent compositions by Wickman and Turkish composer Yurdal Tokcan, as well as pieces from the classical Ottoman repertoire. Dr. Wickman will be assisted by several UTSA School of Music faculty colleagues and musicians from the San Antonio community.
