Description
David Russell is critically acclaimed as an artist worldwide and will perform a free concert at the UTSA Recital Hall on April 20. The pieces on his program are from well-known Spanish composers, like J. Broca’s Pensamiento Espanol, Benedetto Marcello’s Sonata, and F. Moreno Torroba’s Castillos de España. Russell will also present a classical guitar arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Flute Sonata in E minor, BWV 1034. Alongside the performance, a slideshow presentation will give audiences beautiful depictions of these places to accompany the music they will hear.
