Description
The UTSA Summer Band Institute offers a comprehensive music experience focused on developing the musician in addition to developing playing techniques. At this one-week playing intensive camp, campers will perform with one of our concert bands and attend daily classes that include rehearsals, sectional and master classes, and an elective class, which focuses on performing soundtrack music and developing stronger marching techniques for our high school students. This camp provides an opportunity for students to receive exceptional instruction on the instrument that they love and to broaden their learning of many musical components.
