Buckle up for a journey into space, as the UTSA Symphonic Band showcases works that are inspired by both real-life and fictional entities from throughout the galaxy. The program features David Maslanka's fanfare Mother Earth, Michael Daugherty's multi-movement work inspired by Star Trek, Vulcan, Aaron Perrine's beautiful composition Tears of St. Lawrence, the energetic Infinity, by Katahj Copley, and a symphonic suite from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, by John Williams. Admission is free!
