The University of La Rioja is offering a scholarship to UTSA students who are majoring or minoring in Spanish!

The scholarship consists of:

• Program fee (9 months course)
• Return trip (750 Euro maximum)
• Medical Insurance for the full period
• Accommodation 

The program includes: 

• Tuition fee
• Educational materials
• Guided tours around the city, tourist sites and museums chosen by the organization as well as nearby places of interest
• Certificates and diplomas
• Medical and travel insurance
• Access to the University of La Rioja facilities

The course starts on October 1, 2021 and will end on June 3, 2022. 

Students will attend 450 hours of Spanish language classes plus 135 hours of complementary cultural courses. These courses offer the students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Spanish culture. http://fundacion.unirioja.es/en/espanol_subsecciones/view/103/complementary-courses

The selected candidate should arrange the flight to/from Spain. Once in Logroño, the student must give us the airfare invoice (round trip), the boarding pass, train or bus ticket from the airport to Logroño, and all other documents related to the trip.  We will refund then the travel expenses (750€ maximum).

Students will live in dorms or apartments shared with other international students.
