Lydia Fletcher is pursuing her Master's of Philosophy in Medieval English Studies at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.  In 2007, she graduated with her B. A. in English, magna cum laude.  She is wearing her 'sub fusc', the official academic uniform for graduate students.
   
  Jeff Jaeckle is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Michigan State University where he teaches courses on American literature and film. He has published articles in Dreiser Studies, The Wallace Stevens Journal, and ALN: The American Literary Naturalism Newsletter. He has forthcoming essays on the intersections of literary naturalism and film in MLA Approaches to Teaching Jack London and the Oxford Handbook to Naturalism. He is currently at work on two book projects that examine the functions of film dialogue in the contexts of narrative form, genre, and cultural identity.
   
Jessica Junqueira, who graduated with a BA in English in 2007, was one of three individuals selected as a Portz Scholar by the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) for her undergraduate honors thesis entitled “Seeing, Knowing, and Loving: An Exploration of the Neo-Platonic Influences Underlying C. S. Lewis’s Till We Have Faces and George MacDonald’s Phantastes.” She presented this paper in a plenary session on 3 November 2007 at the NCHC National Conference in Denver, Colorado. 
   
  Jessica Loudermilk is a summa cum laude graduate with a B.A. and M.A. in English from UTSA. She was awarded an Alva Englund fellowship for her doctoral studies in English literature at the University of California, Davis.  She was also awarded with a research appointment at the Davis Humanities Institute, where she involved with the inaugural project of the California Cultures Initiative at Davis. Jessica recently presented a paper and chaired panels at the American Literature Association's symposium on American naturalism.
   

Susie Warley, a summa cum laude graduate with a B. A. in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio, has a new album, Kalypso.  The album showcases her song-writing ability and unique vocal style.
