*Preference will be given to students who have completed at least 20 credit hours toward their master’s degree.
Amount of award varies depending on funds available. Past awards have been approximately $1,000, and are awarded just prior to the start of the internship.
*In consultation with the graduate advisors of record, applicants are responsible for making internship arrangements.
*Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by UTSA’s Office of Financial Aid. Please fill-out the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student with a declared a major in the College of Liberal and Fine Arts
Recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours and actively pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts in the College. An exception to full-time enrollment may be granted by the Dean on a case-by-case basis when the student is not required to take a full course load to graduate, provided the student is enrolled in a minimum of six credits hours.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
This is a late award for the current 2017-18 Academic year
*Art and art history and music majors are not eligible for this scholarship.
Mary Pat and Louis H. Stumberg Endowed Scholarship for Interdisciplinary Studies in Music and the Sciences
Undergraduate students who have a declared major in one of the following disciplines:
with one of the majors above you must also have a declared minor in Music or Creative Writing. You may also have an arts major with a minor in one of the disciplines listed above.
Graduate students may have research focus that involves science and art disciplines.
*Art, Art history, and Music majors are not eligible for this scholarship.
