COLFA News - COLFA Graduates

Two recent COLFA graduates won Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarships for 2009-10.  Rawan Arar (Sociology, '08) will take her scholarship to Egypt and Annabelle Ramirez (Anthropology, '07) will take hers to Scotland. The Rotary Scholarships are designed to further international understanding and goodwill, as Rotary Scholars study abroad for one year.
   
The Scholarships provide funding for round-trip transportation, tuition and fees, room, board, and educational supplies up to $30,000.  During their time abroad, Rotary Scholars act as “ambassadors of goodwill,” appearing at Rotary clubs, schools, civic organizations, and other forums to represent their home countries and further international understanding.
