UTSA's largest and most academically diverse college, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts provides the liberal arts core of the university's undergraduate experience through coursework in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Encompassing 11 departments, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts is home to a diverse and stimulating academic community of more than 6,500 students and 177 tenure-track faculty.
In the latest academic year, COLFA and its 11 departments awarded over 180 scholarships totaling more than $358,000. The college makes about 90 endowed and annual awards available to COLFA majors.
The College of Liberal and Fine Arts receives external research funding in the arts, humanities and social sciences, contributing to the academic enrichment of undergraduate and graduate students alike.
