The UTSA Department of Music Lyric Theatre and Orchestra will present Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera "The Mikado."
Performance dates will be Friday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, February 23 at 3:00 p.m.; Friday, Februrary 28 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, March 2 at 3 p.m.

Dr. Joycelyn Moody will host the Spring 2014 Texas Regional Society for the Study of American Women Writers (SSAWW) Study Group meeting.
The common reading will be Jane Edna Hunter¹s autobiography A Nickel and a Prayer (1940), edited by Rhondda Robinson Thomas, and recently reprinted as part of the West Virginia UP Regenerations Series (available here).
Dr Andreá N. Williams, Associate Professor of English at Ohio State University, will be a special guest participant in the discussion. Dr. Williams is author of Dividing Lines: Class Anxiety and Postbellum Black Fiction (Ann Arbor: University of Michigan Press, 2013).

The College of Liberal and Fine Arts is accepting applications for its annual Spring Research Conference. All undergraduate and graduate COLFA students are encouraged to apply online for a chance to gain valuable presentation experience and win cash prizes!
The one-day event includes sections for research papers, posters, multimedia presentations, creative writing, art, and musical performance and concludes with an awards ceremony where outstanding contributions in all categories are recognized.
