November 5-7, 2010: El Mundo Zurdo: The Second International Conference on the Life and Work of Gloria Anzaldúa
The Society for the Study of Gloria Anzaldúa (SSGA) is pleased to announce the second international conference on the work of Chicana feminist Gloria Anzaldúa. Held every 18 months, the SSGA conference is scheduled for November 5-7, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. The 2010 conference theme is Art and Performance. A Call for Proposals will be posted in early February 2010.
El Mundo Zurdo seeks to provide a place for scholars, students, and community to come together with the intention of engaging in the continued study of Anzaldúa's intellectual and spiritual work.
